Looking for a high-definition set but haven’t got room for a huge TV? Sharp’s new 19inch model gives you the benefit of High Definition (HD), but won’t dominate a small living room. If you’re really pushed for space it can even double as a computer monitor. The Aquos LC-19D1E features both HDMI and PC inputs, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding something to hook it up to, and with Freeview built in, you can take your pick from the digital broadcasts on offer. It’s got a native resolution of 1,366 X 768, so can show off 720p HD content, but it can’t cope with the higher quality 1,080i standard. It’s compact at just 36cm high, including stand, and its wide 176-degree viewing angle means everyone can see what’s on screen without having to huddle together.
