The VX3 is the latest addition to Asus’s auto-themed laptop range, thanks to its partnership with sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. As you’d expect from a machine emblazoned with such a prestigious badge, it’s both well specified and far from cheap. It’s powered by one of Intel’s latest Penryn T9300CORE 2 Duo processors running at 2.5GHz and comes with 4GB of memory as standard. An Nvidia GeForce 9300M graphics chip takes care of 3D on the 12.1 in screen and it’s even got HSDPA built in, so you can get fast 3G data wherever you’ve got mobile coverage. In keeping with its high-end spec, it features leather palm rests and a titanium alloy hinge for extra strength. It’s available either in classic Lamborghini yellow or a slightly less extravagant black finish.
