Do you want a way to share music with your friends without annoying people around you? The Belkin RockStar lets you split the audio output of your iPod – or indeed any other MP3 player – with up to five people, so everyone can listen in. All they need to do is plug their headphones into one of the spare connectors. It features one hardwired hook-up for the audio source, plus five headphone sockets arranged in a star configuration. In addition to letting everyone tap into the same tunes, it can also double as a DJ set-up – albeit a very simple one. Connect up another MP3 player and you can mix between tracks for that almost-in-a-nightclub effect, depending on how nifty you are with the volume controls on each player.
